Winners announced for VIBES Scottish Environment Business Awards 2023

After positive and radical environmental action, as well as setting the bar high for other businesses to follow, the winners of the VIBES Scottish Environmental Business Awards are announced

The VIBES Scottish Environment Business Awards recognise and showcase the efforts made by Scottish businesses, and this year, teaching sustainable survival skills to children, producing craft beers with sustainability at their core, and designing and manufacturing thermal storage batteries are just some of the efforts from organisations across Scotland.

Congratulations to this year’s winners:

  • Service Scotland Award – The Alba Explorers Ltd
  • Product Scotland Award – The Glenmorangie Company
  • Nature Rich Scotland Award – Nairn Dunbar Golf Club
  • Circular Scotland Award – Brewster Brothers
  • Just Transition Award – RI Cruden Ltd
  • Sustainable Transport Scotland Award – Ember
  • Energy Transition Scotland Award – RSE (Ross-shire Engineering)
  • Green Fund Award – Ember

The VIBES – Scottish Environment Business Awards are a partnership between the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), The Scottish Government, Energy Saving Trust, Highland & Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise, Scottish Water, Zero Waste Scotland and NatureScot.

Businesses in Scotland are taking significant steps to improve or reduce the impact they have on the environment. Since 1999, VIBES has recognised more than 270 businesses championing sustainability and taking steps to protect the resources of our planet. Their dedication and action, from increasing recycling to supporting active travel, has been at the forefront of tackling climate change.
