During winter, heating our workplaces to comfortable levels is essential. But it is also a big expense. For some organisations it can account for as much as half of total energy bills.
Even the smallest inefficiencies wastes hard-earned profits, increases carbon footprints and impacts comfort and productivity. Heat loss through old or draughty windows and doors is often a major offender.
While upgrading glazing can make a big reduction to your energy use, it’s typically one of the more expensive projects to undertake. The good news is, right now, the Scottish Government is providing funding to help eligible businesses make the upgrades.

About the latest funding (0% loans and grants)
Financial support is currently being provided by Scottish Government to help Scottish small and medium-sized businesses.
0% loans up to £100k are available to help you pay for energy and carbon-saving upgrades in your business – including glazing, where 75% of eligible costs up to a maximum of £20,000 can also be claimed.
We’ll also show you where to easily find out about other public funding opportunities.
