Saving energy and money in your business has never been easier
Whether you’re just starting out on your energy-saving journey and need some impartial advice or are looking for expertise and funding to support your current plans, our team is here to help.
All small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to improve business premises in Scotland are eligible, including charities.
SMEs are defined as organisations with fewer than 250 full time employees and a turnover not exceeding €50 million (approximately £42 million) and/or a balance sheet total not exceeding €43 million (approximately £36 million) across their whole ownership group.
You’ll get a dedicated Business Energy Advisor, supported by a team of technical specialists.
Together, they’ll show you how to use less energy to heat, light and power your business. They can also check to see if you could take advantage of renewable energy technology like solar panels and wind turbines.
Your recommendations will be summarised in an easy to read report (here’s an example). The report can be used to apply for funding from the Scottish Government’s SME Loan Scheme or to support your application to other private or public funding providers.
You can also use our free and impartial expertise to support any energy-saving plans you already have in place.
After an initial consultation with your Business Energy Advisor, and we have all the information we need, we’ll get to work calculating your savings. You’ll typically have your report within 6 weeks.
