Dundee Rep Theatre contacted us for impartial advice which led to a tailored report highlighting practical energy‑saving opportunities for the management team. Acting on the recommendations, the theatre installed a destratification fan and an air barrier to improve comfort and cut costs, investing £3,522 upfront with running costs of just £36 a year. The results speak for themselves – energy use has dropped by more than 90,000 kWh annually, delivering £1,840 in savings that can be reinvested back into the business.
With energy efficiency firmly at the heart of their priorities, Dundee Rep Theatre has continued to build on this success and has since returned to support Business Energy Scotland by helping train Green Champions, openly sharing its journey, lessons learned and results achieved.
