Providing one-to-one advice

In 2025, Business Energy Scotland supported 1069 businesses in Scotland in their journey to save energy and money.

Helping SMEs save carbon

 

Business Energy Scotland identified 14ktCO2 (Thousand kilograms of CO2 equivalent) in carbon savings during 2025. That's an average of 12.75ktCO2 carbon savings identified per business.

 

Helping SMEs save money

 

In 2025, Business Energy Scotland identified a total of £8.4M in financial savings. That's an average of £7.9k annual financial savings identified per business.

 

Providing access to financial support

 

In 2025, the Scottish Government's SME Loan Scheme provided £4.7 million in 0% loans and £4.4 million in cashback grants.

 

Providing training and capacity building support

 

In 2025, Business Energy Scotland delivered 11 free training events, provided 13 thousand instances of website advice and trained 500 CPD-certified Green Champions.
